Vision Statement

The vision of Call the Man Home is to help men encounter God’s plan for their lives.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Call the Man Home Outreach Ministry is to strengthen men, who are already saved and in the church, but are not active in ministry.  These men will be discipled in the word of God that they may be equipped to disciple other men in the church and those that come into church through salvation by Jesus Christ.

Mission Strategies
In 2005, Call The Man Home originated in St. Petersburg, FL with a small group of men, dedicated to changing our world, one man at a time.  Today, our efforts extend throughout the Tampa Bay region.  The network of Call The Man Home partner organizations consist of churches, ministries and non-profit groups.  Call The Man Home especially targets at-risk males, for the purpose of prevention, mentoring, training and developing them into responsible citizens, productive husbands and fathers, active members in their local churches, as well as, role models at work and in the community.  Our ultimate aim is to help men, teens and young boys reach their greatest potential.

As of today, in a new decade with 2010, Call The Man Home continues to gain strength and great momentum throughout the entire Tampa Bay, FL region.  While designed to impact men locally and abroad,  Call The Man Home is a ministry tool to help build men for the Kingdom of God, their families and their communities.

To accomplish this mission, every pastor of every church involved must be willing to spend time teaching the men in their congregation. If the pastor is unable to personally take on this commitment, assign (prayerfully appoint) someone from your congregation to teach the men in your congregation. The pastor must be involved!

The greatest success is achieved when Pastors support the men of their congregations, by attending the scheduled Call The Man Home meetings, as much as possible.  The Pastor’s involvement is KEY to the development and success of this ministry.  Additionally, Pastors’ attendance greatly encourage the men to grow in the knowledge of the word of God.

Upon request,  The Call The Man Home Pastoral Team, stands ready and willing to coordinate visits to train, guide and assist other Pastors, in establishing a Call The Man Home group at their home church.
